"6 Hour Direct Flight"

Aloha Friends!

I have been working on building back up a cohesive portfolio (which is difficult to do when you move from an island, then back to the island...) So here is the first drawing I've completed which will hopefully be the first in a series about Hawaii and more specifically the ocean and the earth between my two homes (Oregon and Oahu).

V-Day Honolulu 2014 is holding an open audition for benefit readings of Eve Ensler's award-winning play The Vagina Monologues on April 10-13, 2014. Anyone who identifies as a woman is welcome to audition and no theatre experience is necessary. Scripts will be provided at the audition. Behind-the-scenes volunteer positions available for people who do not wish to be on stage or do not identify as a woman.

The Vagina Monologues, which was first performed off-Broadway dives into the mystery, humor, pain, power, wisdom, outrage, and excitement buried in women's experiences. This production is part of the global movement, V-Day, whose mission is to end violence against women. V-Day Honolulu 2014 is excited to present these works while raising funds to help end violence against women on O'ahu.   Email madeshaz@gmail.com
