"MAD AT ART"

Despite getting a miserable cold that is simply irritating me today, yesterday was a glorious day. I have always enjoyed gaining new and valuable experiences with art. All aspects of art. It gives me a better understanding of art making and hanging and viewing and above all appreciating.

So a Brief overview of the day:

6am - 7am Go for a run.
8am - 9am Shower, Eat and go to the bookstore and spend *way* too much money on art supplies. (I forgot how annoying it is to start completely over again from scratch)
10am - 11am wait until the building crew had finished moving the giant walls across the room.
11am - 2pm scrap, spackle, sand, wash, tape and paint.
And the for the rest of the day we arranged the show and hung it along with make and print and hang labels and signage. (the picture below is me hand painting in the letters with a too big paint brush.)
9:30pm Get home, eat, crawl defeated into bed.

It was a good day overall and this coming Friday we take it all down and do it again!
