I've recently opened an Etsy story. For those that don't know what that is (shame on you) it's an online outlet for people, artists really, like myself, who are trying to get their wares to the masses. It's all handmade, handcrafted, art, jewelery, household items, clothing, etc.
So far I have one Item for sale. Basically it's a loose (unmounted) square drawing that I choose at random and ship to you. I've never done this before so it should be a learning experience if nothing else. Soon I will be mounting my drawing and selling them as sets and what not. I look forward to getting this thing up and running.
If you have an feedback about the store or some suggestions on things you'd like to see for sale, leave me a note, either here or at my store.
Lovelovelove,
Boz

PDX Panels - I am lucky enough to have a Panel
PDX Panels
a large group show showcasing our city’s talent
Proceeds go to PAC and the artists
Portland Art Center invites artists to participate in its December group show PDX Panels. This is an open invitation to emerging, mid-career and established artists to participate in a large community show and to support PAC. Portland Art Center is a non-profit art center here to directly support the arts community. Each panel will be priced at $300 with 75% of proceeds going to support PAC, and 25% to the artist. PDX Panels is designed as a holiday fund raising exhibition for PAC. Many artists have approached PAC with a desire to help, but not having the funds to do so. This exhibit creates the environment to support PAC, and to showcase the breadth of talent we have here in our city.
Artists from all over the metro region are invited to pick up a 24”x24” panel from PAC between October 4 and October 14 during gallery hours (Wednesday - Sunday 12-6pm). We encourage you to experiment with your panel. Paint on it, draw on it, anything goes (though please call us if your idea gets really complicated). Each panel is ½” MDO, untreated, plywood with hanging hardware pre-mounted on one side. Finished panels need to be dropped off at PAC on Saturday, December 1st. Panels are limited so don’t wait! Our goal is to have 200 participating artists so tell your friends.
